CALLED & CROWNED: A Study of 1 Samuel

In this Bible study, we’ll journey through the book of 1 Samuel, where God's people wrestle with the desire for a human king and discover what it means to follow the true King. Through the lives of Samuel, Saul, and David, we’ll explore themes of God’s sovereignty, calling and anointing, obedience, leadership, and identity. Each week will include both teaching and time to connect more personally in small groups, as we study the historical setting, original language, and how this Old Testament book points us forward, to Christ. We’ll also reflect on how 1 Samuel speaks to our lives today as women called to live with courage, discernment, and devotion to God.

Whether you're new to Bible study or ready to go deeper, you’ll be encouraged and challenged to trust the God who sees your heart and calls you according to His purpose.

*Bring your binders from past studies if you have them!

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Women's Bible study is a place to grow in knowledge of His Word and walk together through this journey of life! We gather at round tables and leave space to get to know one another on a basic level so we can easily join together on a deeper level in our discussion time. We want you to be a part of our growing community!

YOUR TEACHER:
Sasha Pringle is passionate about the Word of God and knowing biblical truth to ground our faith in Jesus. She is a teacher, a mother of four littles, and the supportive, praying wife of Logan Pringle, our Worship Pastor at Southall Church. We are so excited to have her walking us through these scriptures!
